A sinonímia, para a Terminologia Clássica, é a perturbação da ordem na linguagem, tendo que ser evitada nas linguagens técnicas em nome de uma linguagem objetiva, em nome de uma desambiguação. Porém, como se pode ver por meio de estudos descritivos da linguagem cotidiana e especializada, a sinonímia é um fenômeno bastante comum nas línguas naturais. Este estudo é uma investigação dos estudos da sinonímia na linguagem especializada do micro e do pequeno agricultor de cana-de-açúcar do Maranhão. Foram utilizadas amostras da terminologia do micro e do pequeno agricultor de cana-de-açúcar de sete diferentes municípios do Estado para evidenciar a sinonímia (ou a quase-sinonímia) na linguagem desse universo no Maranhão.
The synonym, for the Classic Terminology, is the disturbance of order in the languages. It should be avoid in technical languages in name of an objective language, in name of a disambiguation. But, how it can see by means of descriptive studies of daily language and of specialized language, the synonymy is a phenomenon so common in naturals languages. This study is an investigation of synonymy in specialized language of sugarcane micro and the small planter. Were used samples of terminology of micro and small planter of sugarcane from seven different municipalities from the Maranhão state to show the synonyms (or almost-synonyms) in the language of this universe in Maranhão.
