Este artigo tem como proposta analisar os modos como língua, sujeito e trabalho são discursivizados em duas materialidades significantes com circulação na rede eletrônica: um dicionário voltado a apresentar termos relacionados ao mundo corporativo; e um artigo jornalístico, que tem como propósito dar a conhecer esse instrumento linguístico, ao torná-lo acontecimento jornalístico na mídia. Fundamentado na perspectiva teórico-metodológica da análise de discurso de base materialista, à luz das proposições de Michel Pêcheux, reterritorializadas no Brasil por Eni Orlandi, volta-se mais especificamente a dois movimentos teórico-analíticos: o modo como são constituídos, formulados e postos em circulação nessas materialidades significantes discursos sobre a língua inglesa em seus processos de “tradução” para o português brasileiro, e o funcionamento de dizeres sobre os sujeitos em suas relações entre essas línguas; e o modo como os discursos sobre o chamado “mundo corporativo” dão a ver relações econômicas e laborais presentes na atual conjuntura sócio-histórica.
This article aims to analyze the ways in which language, subject and work are discursivized in two significant materials circulating on the electronic network: a dictionary aimed at presenting terms related to the corporate world; and a journalistic article, which aims to raise awareness of this linguistic instrument by making it a journalistic event in the media. Based on the theoretical-methodological perspective of materialist discourse analysis, in light of Michel Pêcheux's propositions, reterritorialized in Brazil by Eni Orlandi, it focuses more specifically on two theoretical-analytical movements: the way that discourses about the English language are constituted, formulated and put into circulation in these significant materialities in their processes of “translation” into Brazilian Portuguese, and the functioning of sayings about subjects in their relations between these languages; and the way in which discourses on the so-called “corporate world” reveal economic and labor relations present in the current socio-historical situation.
