Este artigo busca discutir as possibilidades de aplicação, para as Ciências Humanas, do conceito de “paradigmaâ€. São discutidas, em um primeiro momento, as clássicas definições e abordagens propostas por Thomas Kuhn no ensaio A Estrutura das Revoluções CientÃficas (1962). Em um segundo momento, é discutida a necessidade de adaptações do conceito no âmbito das Ciências Humanas, considerando que ciências como a História, a Sociologia, a Antropologia e a Geografia são multiparadigmáticas. A articulação entre os conceitos de “Matriz Disciplinar†e “Paradigmas†pode ser apresentada como uma alternativa teórica interessante. O exemplo da História é trazido para ilustrar uma situação que pode ser estendidas à s outras ciências humanas.
This article aims to discuss de possibilities of application, to the Human Sciences, of the concept of “paradigmâ€. They are discussed, in a first moment, by their classical definitions and approaches proposed by Thomas Kuhn in his essay Structure of Scientific Revolutions (1962). In a second moment, is discussed the necessity of adaptations of the concept in the ambit of the Human Sciences, considering that sciences as History, Sociology, Anthropology and Geography are multiparadigmatics. The articulation between the concepts of “Disciplinary Matrix†and “Paradigms†may be presented as an interesting theoretical alternative. History is presented as an example to illustrate a situation that may be extended to all disciplines of the Human Sciences.
