O desenvolvimento tecnológico e a utilização de tecnologias nas organizações fez com que atividades técnicas fossem substituídas por máquinas e robôs. Assim, tornou-se necessário o desenvolvimento de habilidades e competências interperssoais com o intuito de auxiliar esses profissionais em atividades cognitivas e relacionais. Dessa forma, pesquisa-se sobre a importância de desenvolver soft skills para atuar na advocacia contemporânea e nos meios consensuais de resolução de conflitos, a fim de compreender como as habilidades comportamentais (soft skills) auxiliam os advogados na resolução de conflitos a partir dos meios consensuais. Partindo do método hipotético-dedutivo, pautado na pesquisa descritiva qualitativa e com a finalidade básica, buscou-se entender o conceito de soft skills, descrever o motivo do advogado ter a necessidade de desenvolver tais habilidades comportamentais e compreender como as soft skills influenciam e colaboram para que o advogado atue nos meios consensuais. Diante disso, verifica-se que os advogados devem alinhar suas habilidades técnicas (hard skills) às habilidades interpessoais (soft skills) para atuar de modo eficaz na advocacia 4.0. Dessa maneira, os advogados poderão atuar nos meios consensuais de resolução de conflitos e desafogar o Poder Judiciário, negociando e se comunicando de modo mais assertivo e eficaz com seus pares e clientes.
With the technological development and greater use of technologies in organizations, technical activities that were performed strictly by human beings were replaced by machines, making it necessary to develop other skills and competences in order to assist these professionals in cognitive and relational activities. Thus, research is carried out on the importance of developing soft skills to work in contemporary law, also known as 4.0 and in consensual means of conflict resolution, in order to understand how behavioral skills (soft skills) help lawyers in the resolution of conflicts from consensual means. Based on the hypothetical-deductive method, based on qualitative descriptive research and with the basic purpose, we sought to understand the concept of soft skills, describe why the lawyer has the need to develop such behavioral skills and understand how soft skills influence and collaborate for the lawyer to act in consensual means. Therefore, it appears that lawyers must align their technical skills (hard skills) to interpersonal skills (soft skills) to act effectively in law 4.0. In addition, it is essential that lawyers seek to act in consensual means of conflict resolution in order to relieve the Judiciary, using the soft skills that will help them negotiate, work as a team, and communicate more assertively and effective with your peers and clients.
