Anti-Literatura objetiva repensar o próprio conceito contemporâneo de literatura. Debruçando-se sobre as principais formas latino-americanas de escrita experimental da década de 1920 até o final do século XX, Shellhorse reforça o potencial da literatura como canal para reflexão e reação radical às culturas política e cultural contemporâneas. Colocando as literaturas brasileira e argentina no cerne de uma novo paradigma interpretativo, Shellhorse desafia as discussões prevalecentes sobre a projeção histórica e a força crítica da literatura latino-americana. Dissecando uma vasta gama de textos e mídias, o autor delineia o potencial subversivo dos modos anti-literários de escrita.

Anti-Literature aims to rethink the contemporary concept of literature itself. Leaning on the main Latin American forms of experimental writing from the 1920s to the end of the 20th century, Shellhorse reinforces the potential of literature as a channel for reflection and radical reaction to contemporary political and cultural cultures. Placing the Brazilian and Argentine literature at the center of a new interpretive paradigm, Shellhorse challenges the prevailing discussions about the historical projection and the critical force of Latin American literature. Dissecting a wide range of texts and media, the author outlines the subversive potential of anti-literary modes of writing.
