TECNOLOGIA E EDUCAÇÃO: TRANSFORMANDO INFORMAÇÃO EM CONHECIMENTO

O Projeto de Extensão Informática e Cidadania, vinculado ao Programa Entrelaços do Saber, do Centro de Ciências da Educação vêm sendo desenvolvido desde 2003 no Bairro Monte Cristo, Florianópolis (SC), especialmente na Comunidade Nova Esperança. Este Projeto visa proporcionar novas possibilidades de utilização do tempo por crianças e jovens das comunidades que compõem o bairro, haja vista as poucas alternativas de lazer e formação, assim como a vulnerabilidade social a que estão submetidos/as por estarem sujeitos a problemas ligados à dinâmica das violências e tráfico de drogas. Das atividades em oficinas pedagógicas de informática e cursos de formação e capacitação nesta área, formou- se uma equipe de monitores/as de informática que atuou e atua neste e em outros projetos sociais. Este processo é acompanhado e orientado pedagogicamente possibilitando novos olhares sobre a relação da tecnologia com a educação. Nas ações deste Projeto de Extensão além das aquisições de conhecimento sobre as tecnologias da informação e comunicação inseridas na maioria das atividades realizadas atualmente, busca-se também, a inclusão digital e a preparação de jovens para enfrentar o mercado de trabalho com maior qualificação. A vivência de crianças e de jovens neste Projeto vem proporcionando novas sociabilidades e a construção de outras experiências de transformação da informação em conhecimento. Algumas parcerias foram sendo construídas neste processo, dentre elas, com o Consórcio Social da Juventude/Projeto Aroeira e com o Centro de Evangelização Popular (CEDEP).

The Extension Project of Computer science and Citizenship entailed to the Interties Program of knowledge of the Sciences Center of the Education has been developed since 2003 in the Monte Cristo Quarter, Florianópolis (SC), especially in the New Hope Community. This Project aims to provide new possibilities of use of the time for children and young of the communities that compose the quarter, seen there are few alternatives of leisure and formation, as well as the social vulnerability that they are submitted being affected by problems connected to the dynamics of the violences and drug trafficking. Of the activities in pedagogical workshops of computer science and courses of formation and qualification in this area, a team of monitors of computer science formed itself that acted and acts in this and other social projects. This process is accompanied pedagogicaly and guided making possible a new vision on the relation of the technology with the education. In the actions of this Extension Project beyond the acquisitions of knowledge on the technologies of the information and communication inserted in the majority of the activities carried through currently, also searchs the digital enclosure and the preparation of youths for face the labor market with better qualification. The experience of children and young in this Project comes providing to new sociabilities and the construction of other experiences of transformation of the information in knowledge. Some partnerships were being built in this process, amongst them, with the Social Consortium of the Youth/Project Aroeira and with the Center of Popular Evangelization (CEDEP).
