Este texto discute a memória dos profissionais pioneiros do empreendimento televisivo no Pará. O estudo toma como fonte de pesquisa um volume comemorativo dos 40 anos da televisão paraense, composto de 40 depoimentos de artistas e técnicos que atuaram neste campo entre os anos de 1961 e 1976. A proposta do artigo é identificar a formação de um ethos profissional entre os precursores da TV paraense, no contexto de desenvolvimento das redes nacionais. Para isso, são avaliados os registros memorialísticos na pesquisa como representações construídas com base em condicionantes temporais, editoriais e subjetivas.
This text discusses the memory of the pioneer professionals in TV broadcasting in Pará. The study focuses on a tribute book to the 40 years of existence of paraense television, which is a compound of 40 accounts from artists and technicians involved in this field, from 1961 to 1976. The article aims to identify the shaping of a professional ethos among the pioneers in paraense TV, in the context of development of national networks. To do so, the memorial sources researched are assessed as representations determined by certain conditions as time, editorial trends and subjective views.
