Este artigo discute as relações do território quilombola Lagoas, localizado no Território de Desenvolvimento Sustentável Serra da Capivara, no Sudeste do Piauí, com o meio ambiente e com os órgãos de governo, tentando entender estas relações contextualmente dentro dos modos de vida das 118 comunidades que compõem este território. Dentro desta perspectiva, o artigo recupera as lutas e construções identitárias quilombolas.
This article discusses the relationship between Quilombola Lagoas Territory, located in the Serra da Capivara Sustainable Development Territory, in the Southeast of Piauí, and its environment and government agencies, trying to understand this relationship and the lifestyles of the 118 communities that make up this quilombola territory. Under this perspective, the article refers to the struggles and identity constructions of this quilombola community.
