Ao se tratar do princípio da dignidade da pessoa humana, coloca-se em discussão o que é “dignidade”, palavra dotada de vários conceitos quando discutida sob o aspecto jurídico. Nesse caso, será analisada a dignidade sob o ponto de vista do Biodireito, colocando como núcleo de estudo o que se entende por “morte digna” na medida das regulamentações trazidas pelo ordenamento jurídico brasileiro, e como poderá ser garantido ao indivíduo o cumprimento de seus desejos para o término de sua vida, através do chamado Testamento Vital.

When dealing with the principle of the dignity of the human person, we put into discussion what is “dignity”, word endowed with various concepts when discussed under the legal aspect. In this case, dignity will be analyzed from the point of view of the Biolaw, placing as the core of the study what is meant by "dignified death" to the extent of the regulations brought by the Brazilian legal system, and how the individual can be guaranteed the fulfillment of their rights wishes for the end of your life through the so-called Vital Testament.
