This research presents reflections regarding the work of male and female workers in Brazil, with a focus on associated work, through the solidarity economy. The study sought to understand the process of social participation, the changes and identities learned in their social practice, as an expression of the constitution of political subjects, active participants in the construction of collective actions, organizations and social movements aimed at changing the reality of their time.
