Este artigo trata da complexa passagem do predomínio do regime de acumulação fordista para os novos regimes de acumulação pós crise de 1970. Esta passagem, ainda em curso, criou novas espacialidades e novas formas de gestão do território que, em muitas facetas, diferenciam-se da espacialidade fordista e, em muitas outras, dão continuidade à sua lógica. As novas possibilidades técnicas de utilização do espaço e o conseqüente fortalecimento das redes são fatores patentes neste processo.
This article discusses the complex transition from the predominant fordist accumulation model into new accumulation regimes after the crisis in the 1970s. Such transition, still in progress, has originated new spatialities and new practices of territory management that, in many ways, differ from the fordist spatilitiy and, in many others, maintain its principles. The new technical possibilities of space utilization and the consequent growth of the networks are clear factors in this process.
