Analisa a gestão e a aplicação de serviços de informação em bibliotecas escolares, considerando dessa forma a realidade das escolas públicas de Farias Brito – Ce. A problemática do presente trabalho pode ser sintetizada na seguinte pergunta: como se encontra o nível de satisfação dos usuários quanto à gestão e aos serviços de informação oferecidos pelas Bibliotecas Escolares e como se desenvolve os serviços de informação em Bibliotecas Escolares das escolas públicas de Farias Brito-Ce, sob o olhar de seus executores (professores readaptados) e de seus usuários (professores e alunos)?. Deste modo, o objetivo geral do trabalho é Investigar como se dá o processo de gestão e a aplicação de serviços de informação nas bibliotecas escolares das escolas públicas municipais e estaduais de Farias Brito – CE, enquanto os objetivos específicos são: Refletir sobre o papel social e educativo da biblioteca escolar no âmbito dos usuários da informação; Analisar a atuação da biblioteca escolar contemplando possíveis serviços de informação. A metodologia é constituída do tipo descritiva, com delineamento bibliográfico e utiliza o método indutivo. Conclui-se que as bibliotecas das escolas públicas de Farias-Brito-Ce, ainda deixam a desejar nos seus serviços prestados, juntamente com suas estruturas e seus materiais que não são adequados para os usuários

Theissue of this work can be summarized in the following question: how is the level of user satisfaction regarding the information services offered by the School Libraries and how it develops information services in School Libraries Public Schools Farias Brito - CE, under the eyes of his executioners (readapted teachers) and their users (teachers and students)? Thus, the overall objective of the study is to investigate how is the process of applying for information services in school libraries of public schoolsand state Farias Brito - CE, while the specific objectives are: To reflect on the social and educational role of school library in the context of information users; analyze the performance of the school library1contemplating possible information services. The methodology consists of a descriptive type, with bibliographic design and uses the inductive method. We conclude that the libraries of public schools - Farias Brito - CE, still fall short in their services, along with their structures and their materialsare not suitable for users
