O presente artigo tem como objetivo apresentar o argumento do filósofo espanhol Juan Manuel Burgos sobre a existência de uma filosofia, em voga no século XX e que possui como base a reflexão sobre a pessoa, denominada personalismo. Esta corrente de pensamento se vale de um conceito moderno do termo “pessoa”. Percebe-se que o autor apresenta novos rumos para esta corrente filosófica, distanciando-se de seus fundadores (especialmente a figura de Emmanuel Mounier), bem como apresentando uma síntese para essa filosofia, que também é uma espécie de chave de leitura para todos os filósofos considerados personalistas ou de inspiração personalista.
The main of this article is present the argument of the Spanish philosopher Juan Manuel Burgos about the philosophy called personalism, original from XXth century and based on a meditation about the person. This new outline of philosophy is based on a modern concept of “person”. It’s realized that the author presents a new way to think this philosophical tendency, straying its founders (especially Emmanuel Mounier), as well as presenting a synthesis for it, that is a key for reading all philosophers that are called personalists or have it as an inspiration.
