This text is the result of an ethnographic journey that I coordinated in December 2019 by the invitation of Professors Jose Canziani and Marta Vilela, of the Faculty of Architecture of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, within the framework of the Intensive Workshop of the Master's Degree in Architecture, Urbanism and Sustainable Territorial Development of the PUCP in the Sondondo Valley. Considered a "cultural landscape", this region is under the process of being recognized as a World Heritage Site before UNESCO. In the first year of this workshop were contemplated the little towns of Lama and Selva Alta and in the second year, Sondondo, province of Ayacucho. Three work trips have already been made to nine urban centers.
