UTILIZAÇÃO DO QUESTIONÁRIO CAGE COMO RASTREIO DE ETILISTAS EM UMA UNIDADE DE SAÚDE DA FAMILIA DO ESTADO DE RONDÔNIA

Resumo Português:

O uso de álcool e drogas tem sido crescentemente reconhecida como problema para a saúde pública no mundo. Objetivo: avaliar se a educação em saúde através da distribuição de panfletos (flyers informativos) é eficaz na captação de pacientes e avaliar se questionário CAGE pode vir a ser um bom instrumento de rastreio a ser utilizado no acolhimento em uma unidade de saúde da família do norte do país. Metodologia: Foi distribuído flyers informativos na unidade, e os pacientes que procuravam informações sobre eram encaminhados ao acolhimento para responder um questionário (CAGE) aos pacientes que procuraram o atendimento na demanda espontânea da unidade de saúde da família Osvaldo Piana. Resultados: Foram avaliados 156 questionários sendo que 44 28,20% foram CAGE positivo, a maior faixa etária foi entre 18 e 30 anos (48,18%). Conclusão: O questionário CAGE foi efetivo quando utilizado no acolhimento da unidade de saúde estudada e pode ser utilizado como rastreio a fim de identificar a possibilidade de problemas com uso abusivo de álcool.

The issue of alcohol and drug use has been increasingly recognized as a problem for public health in the world. Objective: to evaluate if the CAGE questionnaire can be a good screening instrument to be used in the reception at a family health unit in the north of the country. Methodology: Informational flyers were distributed at  the  unit,  and  patients  seeking information  about  the  patients  were  sent  to  the  host  to  answer  aquestionnaire (CAGE) to patients who sought care in the spontaneous demand of the Osvaldo Piana family health unit. Results: A  total  of  156 questionnaires  were  evaluated  and  44  28.20%  were  CAGE  positive, the  highest  age  group  was between  18  and  30  years  old  (48.18%). Conclusion: The  CAGE  questionnaire  was  effective  when  used  in  the reception of the health unit studied and could be used as a screening to identify the possibility of problems with alcohol abuse.
