O objetivo desse trabalho consiste em avaliar a relação entre os valores humanos e condutas anti-sociais e delitivas em diferentes amostras. O expressivo aumento das condutas desviantes entre os jovens tem chamado atenção de especialistas e suas diversas perspectivas teóricas para explicar esse fato. Neste contexto, os valores humanos têm sido um construto que vem contribuindo para a predição desse fenômeno. 1361 jovens do sexo masculino e feminino e com idades entre 14 e 20 anos foram distribuÃdos em três amostras. Responderam a Escala de Condutas Anti-Sociais e Delitivas, Questionário dos Valores Básicos e questões sócio-demográficas. Os resultados revelaram, nas três amostras, que os valores que visam o individualismo é capaz de fomentar uma maior intensidade das condutas desviantes, já valores que buscam a manutenção da tradição e as normas sociais apresentando uma dimensão coletivista poderão inibir essas condutas.
The increase in deviant behaviors among young people has drawn attention of specialists in the development of theories that explain this problem in Brazil. In this context, human values have contributed to the prediction of this phenomenon, mainly, because this construct is able to explain the behavior of people, from the orientation, choices, and human attitudes. This work aims to assess the relationship between human values and anti-social and criminal conducts in different samples. Three samples with young people between 14 and 20 years old, men and women, participated in the study. They answered the Scale of Anti-social and criminal conducts, Questionnaire of Basic Values and socio-demographic issues. In the three samples, young people who prioritize personal values (individual) related, positively, with deviant behaviors; which who prioritizes the social values (maintenance of tradition and social norms were collectives) related, negatively, with the same conducts.
