Velhice institucionalizada: imaginário e realidades

Este texto expõe dados e reflexões decorrentes de investigação que venho realizando em uma Instituição de Longa Permanência para Idosos (ILPI), do Distrito Federal. A pesquisa que coordeno, na Universidade Católica de Brasília (UCB), programa de Pós-graduação stricto sensu em Gerontologia, está aprovada pelo Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico (CNPq) e pelo Comitê de Ética da Universidade Católica de Brasília (CEP/UCB) e se desenvolve com a atuação de uma equipe interdisciplinar de professores doutores, auxiliados por graduandos e mestrandos da referida Universidade. Apresento aqui fragmentos advindos da análise durandiana, de histórias de vida, depoimentos, escuta e dos registros míticos contidos em protocolos do Arquétipo Teste de Nove Elementos – AT-9, de Yves Durand, oferecidos pelos moradores da referida ILPI. São dados obtidos na escuta mitológica e arquetipal, na interação com os componentes, habitantes do asilo em pauta, no seu cotidiano asilar; dados reveladores do imaginário subjacente às falas, ações e posturas dos sujeitos da pesquisa. As afirmações aqui postas estão complementadas com resultados registrados em livros de outros estudiosos e pesquisadores, que, como eu, se preocupam em desvendar a realidade desses locais repletos de criaturas idosas, velhos, que, triplamente vitimizados, são relegadas pela família, esquecidas pelo Estado e excluídas da sociedade, tornando-se sombrias, na sua maioria. O texto trata do imaginário característico desse grupo de idosos asilados e dos demais componentes da organização, “escutando” o cotidiano do asilo. A preocupação com o bem-estar do cidadão velho, em qualquer circunstância, o respeito (recíproco) pela velhice e os cuidados com o processo de envelhecimento – em especial com o do velho asilado –, sem perder de vista a necessidade do fortalecimento e aprofundamento da, ainda em construção, multidisciplinar teoria gerontológica, apoiam a intenção de pesquisar, com possível intervenção, a organização e a gestão de ILPIs – ou asilo, considerando a possibilidade de novas formas de atenção político-social mais humanas ao idoso institucionalizado.

This work presents informations and reflections resulted from research that I have accomplished in a long-term care institution for the elderly (ILPI), in Brazil Federal District. The research that I coordinate at Universidade Católica de Brasília (UCB), in a Postgraduate program in Gerontology, is approved by the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) and by the Ethics Committee of the Universidade Católica de Brasília (CEP / UCB), The research develops activities with an interdisciplinary team of doctors, professors, supported by undergraduates and master students of the university.
I present here fragments resultant of analysis of the Durand’s theory, life stories, testimonies, listenings and mythical records on protocols of archetype: Test Nine Elements - AT-9 by Yves Durand, offered by the residents of the reported long-term care institution. These informations are obtained from mythological and archetypal listenings, in the interaction with residents of the rest home at issue, in their daily routine at rest home, revealing informations of the imaginary implied in the speech, actions and attitudes of subjects in the research. The statements here made​​, are complemented with results recorded in books of other scholars and researchers that like me, they bother about uncover the reality of these places crowded of the elderly people who are: thrice victimized, relegated by their family, forgotten by the state and excluded from society, becoming sad, in majority. This text deals with the imaginary, peculiar to this elderly group that stay in rest home and other components of the organization, "listening" to the rest home daily routine. The care with the elderly well-being, in all circumstances, mutual respect for the aging and care with aging process - especially with the rest home residents, Not losing sight of the necessity for strengthening and deepening of a multidisciplinary perspective in the gerontologic theory, still under construction, they support the intention to research, with a possible intervention in the organization and management of long-term care institution for the elderly or rest homes, considering the possibility of new forms of political and social attention more humane to the institutionalized elder person.
