This paper deals with the different forms on which the subject is related historically within television environment. How the different approaches emphasize the visual perception to understand the culture and the subject, and how the social semiotic has changed. The sight primacy into touching notion, allowing a better understanding of the phenomenon, (especially audio-visual means) and its relation with social practices. Therefore, this paper proposes a reflexion about the history of the means of communication - media, mainly television, starting with the relation between image, touch and the symbolic.
