A ficção que toma as narrativas de viagens como traçado inicial para uma reflexão abrangente das relações entre história e ficção inserem o dado autobiográfico no questionamento dos limites e alcances dos campos discursivos. Este trabalho apresenta considerações acerca dessa relação tripartite a partir da leitura comparada das obras de Bruce Chatwin e Bernardo Carvalho e suas interseções com as narrativas históricas.

Fiction that adopts the travel narrative as an initial outline for a comprehensive reflection on the relationship between history and fiction introduces the autobiographical element to the discussion on the limits and scope of the discursive fields. This paper presents considerations about this tripartite relationship from the comparative reading of the works of Bruce Chatwin and Bernardo Carvalho, and their intersections with the historical narratives.
