O presente artigo busca refletir e problematizar as interfaces entre a violência doméstica e familiar, vivenciadas por mulheres em suas diversas tonalidades de cor. É uma sistematização de uma pesquisa dissertativa de mestrado, de experiências profissionais da autora, bem como, revisão bibliográfica. Tendo como aporte o conceito de violência contra a mulher, defendido pela Lei 11. 340/2006, Lei Maria da Penha, e os dados do mapa da violência de 2015. Esta reflexão objetiva analisar aspectos do cotidiano que funcionam como correntes invisíveis que dificultam a superação da situação da violência contra as mulheres, tendo a pretensão também de chamar a atenção sobre a necessidade do Estado e demais instituições da rede de atenção às mulheres em situação de violência em voltarem seus olhares para sua atuação como ponto de partida ao enfrentamento as violências. A categoria “mulheres” foi utilizada na pesquisa de forma aberta e contingente, sem estar fixada a um modelo universal. A violência contra mulheres ainda é uma realidade e não há apenas uma causa que possa caracterizá-la, uma vez que a mesma é multicausal. E independe de qualquer marcador social, racial e religioso. O olhar sobre a cultura machista e patriarcal brasileira revela posturas de legitimação e banalização de tais violências que legislações recentes, como a Lei Maria da Penha, buscam superar. Esta lei traz inovações jurídicas e processuais que pretendem empreender mudanças legais, políticas e culturais na afirmação dos direitos humanos das mulheres.

This article seeks to reflect and problematize the interfaces between domestic and family violence, experienced by women in their different shades of color. It is a systematization of a master’s dissertation research, of the author’s professional experiences, as well as a bibliographic review. Based on the concept of violence against women, defended by Law 11.340/2006, Maria da Penha Law, and data from the 2015 violence map. This reflection aims to analyze aspects of daily life that function as invisible currents that make it difcult to overcoming the situation of violence against women, with the intention of also drawing attention to the need of the State and other institutions of the care network for women in situations of violence to turn their eyes to their performance as a starting point for confronting violence. The category “women” was used in the research in an open and contingent way, without being fxed to a universal model. Violence against women is still a reality and there is not just one cause that can characterize it, since it is multicausal. And it is independent of any social, racial and religious markers. The look at the sexist and patriarchal Brazilian culture reveals postures of legitimization and trivialization of such violence that recent legislation, such as the Maria da Penha Law, seeks to overcome. That law brings legal and procedural innovations that aim to bring about legal, political and cultural changes in the afrmation of women’s human rights.
