Este ensaio tem como objetivo, em um primeiro momento, a exposição de algumas das diversas representações de Brasil nas nossas Letras durante o período no qual o Romantismo vigorou na nossa poesia, para, após essa exposição, teorizar sobre as causas das mudanças na forma de representar a pátria-mãe adotadas pelos poetas desse período.
This essay has as primary objective to present some of Brazil’s different representations in our Literature during the period in which Romanticism prevailed in our poetry. It also theorizes on the causes of changes in the different ways of representing the motherland by the poets of that period.
