As alterações demográficas ocorridas e em curso no Brasil tanto no seu crescimento como na mobilidade da população passando da rural para urbana despertou a atenção dos gestores públicos somente a partir da década de 1990. As políticas públicas voltadas para a agricultura ainda estão em fase de entendimento e incorporação, seja dos poderes públicos seja por parte dos produtores por não terem acesso ou conhecimento pelas mesmas. Diante desse cenário, o objetivo geral deste trabalho está em analisar as políticas públicas disponibilizadas para o agricultor familiar. Para tal, fez-se o estudo no município de Entre Rios do Oeste durante o período de 2013/2016 e uma apreciação das políticas públicas ofertadas pelo município para essa categoria. A pesquisa se classifica como bibliográfica e descritiva quanto aos objetivos, com abordagem quantitativa e qualitativa e análise documental. Este trabalho, com os procedimentos adotados, aponta as ações desenvolvidas pelo poder público para atender as unidades de agricultura familiar, por meio de suas políticas públicas, com interação dos atores envolvidos e critérios técnicos. Através da pesquisa realizada, pode-se concluir que os produtores foram contemplados pelas diferentes políticas públicas atendendo alguns dos objetivos, interesses e expectativas dos mesmos.
The demographic changes that have taken place in Brazil, both in its growth and in the mobility of the population, from rural to urban, have attracted the attention of public managers only since the 1990s. Public policies for agriculture are still in phase Of understanding and incorporation, either by the public authorities or by the producers because they do not have access to or knowledge of them. Given this scenario, the general objective of this work is to analyze the public policies made available to the family farmer. To do so, the study was conducted in the municipality of Entre Rios do Oeste during the period 2013/2016 and an appreciation of the public policies offered by the municipality for this category. The research is classified as bibliographic and descriptive regarding the objectives, with quantitative and qualitative approach and documentary analysis. This work, with the adopted procedures, indicates the actions developed by the public power to attend the units of family agriculture, through its public policies, with the interaction of the involved actors and technical criteria. Through the research, it can be concluded that the producers were contemplated by the different public policies, meeting some of their objectives, interests and expectations.
