The objective of this work is to evaluate the land and water resources, their availability, quality and use in rural family production units in the municipalities of Erval Seco, Liberato Salzano and Pinhal. Therefore, it emphasizes the socio-environmental sustainability of rural family farmers, as well as the use of these resources and their future maintenance. In addition, it seeks to identify the negative impacts to propose alternative technical procedures to the viabilization of rural family agriculture. In this way, the work enhances the importance of water quality analysis, as well as the use of organic fertilizer in certain measures. This concern is due to the important role that family agriculture represents in the aggregate of municipal and regional economic production and the difficulties it has been presenting.
