In this work, the discriminant analysis was applied to verify the heart rate behavior in the cycle ergometric test, applied to two groups of individuals, each of 15 elements, which were submitted to the "Circuit-Training" and "Power-Training" of physical training. A discriminant function was defined with which a new athlete can be classified into one of the training groups
