Resumo Inglês:

The concentrations of Zn and Cu in samples of Candiota thermoelectric coal (RS) were determined by extractive-spectrophotometric methods Ditizona-Zincon and Ditizona-Batocuproina, respectively. The previous acidic decomposition of the samples was carried out in an improved glass equipment. The results obtained (dry basis) vary between 13.2 and 35.9 ppm Zn, and between 3.4 and 16.2 ppm Cu, respectively.
