Objetivo: Mostrar a aplicação da microbiologia e as formas como esta é subdividida durante a graduação na área das ciências da saúde. Métodos: Essa foi uma pesquisa bibliográfica, baseada na busca de dados curriculares sobre o ensino de microrganismos, nos cursos de graduação do Piauí – Brasil. Resultados: O ensino superior é o nível mais elevado do sistema educacional, referindo-se normalmente a uma educação realizada em universidades, e o ensino de microbiologia é um desafio para professores de ciências nos diversos níveis do ensino brasileiro. Conclusão: Concluiu-se a necessidade de métodos e materiais alternativos na elaboração e realização de aulas práticas.
Objective: The objective of the work showed the application of the microbiology and the forms as this one it is subdivided during the graduation in the area of the sciences of the health. Methods: This was a bibliographical inquiry based on the search of data curriculares on the microorganisms teaching, in the degree course of the Piauí – Brazil. Results: The superior teaching is the most elevated level of the education system, referring normally to an education carried out in universities, and the microbiology teaching is a challenge for teachers of sciences in several levels of the Brazilian teaching. The objective of the work showed the application of the microbiology and the forms as this one it is subdivided during the graduation in the area of the sciences of the health. Conclusion: There was ended the necessity of methods and alternative materials in the preparation and realization of practical classrooms.
