Este artigo aborda a relação entre uma parcela do Movimento dos Trabalhadores Rurais Sem-Terra do Brasil e a Companhia do Latão, grupo teatral sediado na capital paulista. A partir de um encontro fortuito, o interesse pelos intercâmbios entre estes coletivos se expandiu, até o planejamento e a realização de ações conjuntas. As atividades que envolveram o núcleo cênico paulistano e alguns assentamentos não se limitaram a apresentações de espetáculos teatrais nos espaços do MST, ganhando contornos pedagógicos através de oficinas nas quais foi possível promover trocas de conhecimentos e de saberes artísticos e sociais.
This article discusses the relationship between a portion of the brazilian Landless Workers Movement and the Companhia do Latão, a theatrical group based in the city of São Paulo. From a fortuitous link, the interest for the interchanges between these collectives expanded to the planning and the accomplishment of joint actions. These activities which jointed the São Paulo´s scenic core and some settlements were not limited to theatrical performances in the MST´s sites, it added up pedagogical outlines by workshops in which was possible to promote exchanges of knowledge and artistic and social wisdoms.
