O texto objetiva apresentar a Ouvidoria na Saúde como um caminho possível à vulnerabilidade do indivíduo na busca de um atendimento mais humanizado, garantindo direitos sociais e, principalmente, a busca da cidadania. Sugere uma reflexão para a tendência mercadológica de transformar pessoas e a própria saúde em mercadoria. Neste caminho valores são ressignificados e o sujeito transformado em objeto de consumo. O referencial teórico adotado foi principalmente as análises do sociólogo e filósofo Zygmunt Bauman no livro Vida para Consumo.
The text aims to present the Ombudsman's Office in Health as a possible way to the vulnerability of the individual in the search for a more humanized service, guaranteeing social rights and, mainly, the search for citizenship. It suggests a reflection on the market trend of turning people and their own health into merchandise. In this way, values are redefined and the people transformed into consumption objects. The theoretical reference adopted was mainly the analysis of the sociologist and philosopher Zygmunt Bauman in the book Consuming Life.
