Por meio de pesquisa teórica, básica, qualitativa e bibliográfica, o presente artigo busca compreender como o pensamento projetual contemporâneo articula-se ao design de vestuário. Para tanto, foram analisados fatores divergentes e convergentes entre metodologias projetuais e foram estabelecidos dois modelos gráficos para representar o pensamento projetual no design de vestuário. O modelo gráfico 1, apresenta uma estrutura multidimensional, que considera: desordem observada no sistema; soluções temporárias e permanentes; entrada, reentrada e documentação de informação; metodologia; processo; método; técnica; competências; habilidades; e ferramentas. A partir da representação, infere-se que a relação entre o pensamento projetual e o design de vestuário resulta em um sistema permeável, elástico e flexível. Para futuros estudos, recomendase a elaboração de modelos gráficos que considerem os fatores tecnologia e entropia do sistema. Palavras-chave: Design de Vestuário. Metodologia Projetual. Through theoretical, basic, qualitative and bibliographical research, this article seeks to understand how contemporary design thinking articulates with clothing design. To this end, divergent and converging factors between design methodologies were analyzed and two graphic models were established to represent design thinking in clothing design. Graphic model 1, presents a multidimensional structure that considers: disorder observed in the system; temporary and permanent solutions; entry, re-entry and documentation of information; methodology; process; method; technique; competences; skills; and tools. From the representation, it is inferred that the relationship between design thinking and clothing design results in a permeable, elastic and flexible system. For future studies, it is recommended to develop graphical models that consider the technology and entropy factors of the system
