Este artigo discute as parcerias que Fernando Peixoto manteve com Maurício Capovila e João Batista de Andrade. Os filmes resultantes desses encontros, Gamal – o delírio do sexo (1969) e O profeta da fome (1970), são aqui analisados de modo a salientar o impacto das propostas da estética do lixo sobre esses artistas.
This article argues the partnerships that Fernando Peixoto kept with Maurício Capovila and João Baptist of Andrade. The resultant films of these meeting, Gamal – o delírio do sexo (1969) and O profeta da fome (1970), are analyzed in order to point out the impact of the proposals of the counter culture and the aesthetic of the garbage on these artists.
