O objetivo deste texto é, situando-se na vertente da história cultural francesa, investigar as relações entre arte, história e história da arte, considerando-se os objetos culturais como um rico e sofisticado instrumento de produção de representações, que contribui para a elaboração de sentidos, de formas de olhar e ver a realidade e sobre o qual é necessário refletir.
Aligned with the French cultural history, this paper intends to investigate the relationship between art, history and art history, considering cultural objects as a rich and sophisticated instrument to create representations, that contribute to form senses, or in other words, ways to look and see the reality and about which discussion is necessary.
