Our objective in this study is to refl ect on some Bakhtin’s concepts, from his conception of language as an abstract system and as a collective, integrant creation of a cumulative dialogue between “I” and the “other”, between many “Is” and many “others”. We understand our goal does not constitute simple task, in result of the amplitude and the complexity of its workmanship, discussion around the attributed authorship the texts signed with other integrants’ names of the Bakhtin’s Circle, and unfamiliarity that still it’s verifi ed in totality of his ideas and the object diversity of author’s refl ection. From a preliminary inquiry, we verify that the current publications are innumerable which, of different and until paradoxical forms, appeal to Bakhtin to try the validation of extremely disparate hypotheses between itself. It is possible to fi nd the Bakhtin’s thought since in dedicated works of semiotics to the study of the cinema, of the painting, even in literature works whose emphasis falls again into aesthetic questions of the literary texts, and of linguistics whose focus is on the process of subjectivity constitution.
