This article analyses the lyrics Palavras Erradas from Fabio Terra, who is the guitar player of the band O Bando do Velho Jack, one of the most traditional rock groups in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul, through a semiotics perspective. It is an effort to know how the process of making sense is built in this text adopting the semiotics theory developed by Algirdas Julien Greimas and his followers.
