A herança que os Grimm nos deixaram não se resume aos duzentos e dez contos dos Kinderund hausmärchen, cujo estilo tem seduzido gerações e gerações de leitores e ouvintes, e conduzido a inúmeras adaptações (contos de autor, filmes, desenhos animados, banda-desenhada, música…). Como veremos neste artigo, o legado destes autores está também no método de recolha e de edição que eles definiram e divulgaram, e na dignidade e notoriedade que vieram trazer tanto às literaturas orais e populares como à literatura infanto-juvenil.
The legacy left us by the brothers Grimm is not limited to the two hundred and ten tales included in the Kinder-und hausmärchen, whose style has seduced generations of readers and listeners, and led to numerous adaptations (tales, movies, cartoons, comics, music ...). As we will see in this article, the legacy of these authors is also the method of collecting and editing that they have defined and disseminated, and the dignity and reputation that they have brought both to the oral and popular literature as to the children’s literature.
