A Irmandade do Santíssimo Sacramento do Ouro Preto foi fundada em 1712, e agregava, em certa medida, homens que pudessem pagar altas taxas no ato da filiação e anualmente. Nessa perspectiva, analisaremos a documentação legada pelos irmãos da mesa gestora da instituição, sendo eles os Oficiais da Mesa e os Zeladores da Bacia, estes responsáveis pelo peditório nas localidades em que viviam. Pretendemos, assim, conhecer um pouco do corpo diretivo da irmandade, que confunde-se, por sua vez, com a elite vilarriquenha.

The Brotherhood of the Blessed Sacramentof the Ouro Preto was founded in 1712, and aggregated, in certain way, men who could afford high rates at the time of membership and annually. In this perspective, we will analyze the documentation left by them members brothers of the managing table of the institution. They were the Officials of the table and the caretaker of the basin that were responsible for the holy mendicity in the localities in which they lived. We intend, therefore, to know a little of the directors from the brotherhood, that is confused with the local elite from Villa Rica.
