O estudo focaliza a polissemia do termo fronteiriço e os
possíveis entendimentos do conceito de “brasiguaio”, compreendido
como multifacetado, histórico e com uma dinâmica peculiar. Orienta-se
por algumas indagações, tais como: seriam melhor designados os
moradores da fronteira Brasil-Paraguai pela fusão dos prefixos “brasiguaios”? Além disso, como a noção de habitus, compreendida como ser
e estar, corrobora para compreender as pertenças dos fronteiriços, existe
um habitus de fronteiriço? Brasiguaio e fronteiriço são sinônimos? No
estudo são mobilizadas fontes históricas da memorialística regional,
trabalhos acadêmicos sobre fronteiras internacionais e análises com
aportes da teoria bourdieusiana. Opera-se com a noção de habitus na
compreensão do sentimento de “ser e estar” na área da fronteira brasileira
com o Paraguai e propõem-se elementos para pensar que na condição
fronteiriça há uma identificação coletiva de grupo, no qual as disposições
para partilhar dois territórios, isto é, a ambiência cultural deriva um
habitus, adjetivado no estudo por habitus fronteiriço.
The case focuses on the polysemy of the term frontier and possible understandings of the concept of “brasiguaio”, understood as multifaceted, historical and with a peculiar dynamics. Guided by some questions such as: would be better called the inhabitants of the BrazilParaguay border merger by the prefixes “Brasi-guaios”? Moreover, how the notion of habitus, understood as being and wellbeing, confirms to understanding feelings of belonging border, is there a habitus border? Are brasiguaio and border synonymous? In the study are mobilized historical sources of the regional memoirs, academic articles about international borders and analysis with contributions of Bourdieu’s theory. Operates with the notion of habitus to understand the feeling of “ being and wellbeing “ in the Paraguay and Brazil border area and propose elements to think that in the frontier condicion there is a collective identification of group, whereupon the willing to share two territories, videlicet, the cultural ambience derives a habitus, called as frontier habitus in this study.
