O presente artigo apresenta uma leitura preliminar e aproximativa da obra poética de Moacyr Félix, buscando identificar alguns conflitos que marcam a condição do poeta moderno. Tomando como premissa a hipótese de que a poesia moderna se dá no conflito entre a consciência histórica e o desejo de escapar à historicidade, intenta-se explorar em alguns poemas o que seria o confronto entre Spleen e Ideal, ou seja, entre uma percepção da realidade como decadência, impossibilidade da experiência, e a utopia, na tentativa de representar, e/ou nomear, a vida no que seria sua plenitude: a liberdade, que, através do amor, realizaria o encontro do indivíduo consigo mesmo, com os demais indivíduos e com o mundo.
This article presents a preliminary and approximate reading of the poetry of Moacyr Félix, seeking to identify some conflicts that characterize the condition of the modern poet. Starting with the premise that modern poetry is composed of the conflict between historical consciousness and the desire to escape the historicity, it intends to explore in some poems of Felix what would be the confrontation between Spleen and Ideal, namely, between perception of reality as decay, impossibility of experience, and utopia, in an attempt to represent and/or appoint life in its fullness: freedom, which, through love, take place the encounter of the individual with himself, with other individuals and with the world.
