Os anos de 1890 a 1920 se destacaram na história das migrações internacionais no Pará. Houve neste período uma eficaz propaganda migratória na Europa fazendo com que o Estado recebesse um significativo número de imigrantes europeus. Esses imigrantes fizeram parte de um exercito de estrangeiros que tinham o papel de povoar e trabalhar na Amazônia. Neste cenário, destacaram-se muitos espanhóis que vieram viver o sonho do “eldorado amazônico”, juntos com suas famílias e recomeçaram sua história de vida.
The years of 1890-1920 stood out in the history of international migration in Para. There was at that time an effective migratory advertising in Europe causing the state to receive a significant number of immigrants from Europe. These immigrants were part of an army of foreigners who had the role of people and work in the Amazon. In this scenario, the highlights were many Spaniards who came to live the dream of the "Amazon eldorado", together with their families and resumed his life story.
