This article aims to verify how the research teacher, attending a university course, concerning their academic text, establishes the relation between the “I” and the “other” discourse, how the authorized voices are incorporated. The examined materials are precisely named “conversations” – brief academic texts collected in the form of a book, from an education master course subject of Universidade Estadual de Londrina. Three lines of work are selected as theoretical basis in order to define the “saying” in the academic text: the valorization of the writing and the quotation, in Certeau (1994), the ways of authority argumentation, in Ducrot (1987) and Plantin (1996), and the language dialogic activity and its choir of voices in Bakhtin. The dialogic relations among the texts as acceptance, reproduction, agreement , extinguishment, debt and increase are considered in the carried out analysis
