O presente trabalho tem como objetos de análise comparativa os filmes “A chegada” (2016) dirigido por Denis Villeneuve e “X-men: dias de um futuro esquecido” (2014) dirigido por Bryan Singer. Contemplando essas duas obras como narrativas, levando em consideração o enfoque na linguagem e objeto estético nessas ficções, que nos transmitem a uma construção intertextual e/ou autoreflexiva em questões do humano, o seu social e suas interações com o tempo/espaço, marcos da literatura postulados por Culler (1999), em Teoria Literária. Sendo assim, essas aclamadas narrativas estrangeiras (re)tratam sobre os conceitos de linguagem, tempo e sociedade na contemporaneidade, (re)significando as concepções de tempo e linguagem em sua ficcionalidade, contribuindo diretamente na estrutura de ambas narrativas que se utilizam de viagens do tempo para compor a tríade que estrutura os filmes – linguagem, tempo e social; é nessa semelhança que encontra-se o espaço para aproximar as obras, utilizando como base para a comparação a “Homologia Estrutural”, de Gonçalves (1997), em que analisamos como as estruturas influenciam nos aspectos das narrativas, procurando semelhanças e diferenças em suas composições estruturais. Percebemos que apesar de serem duas obras com temáticas, histórias e anos diferentes, possuem uma estrutura similar na construção do tempo da narrativa, em relação ao seu início, meio e fim configurados pelas passagens/viagens no tempo.
The following work has as objetcs of comparative analyses the films “Arrival” (2016) directed by Denis Villeneuve and “X-Men: Days Of Future Past” (2014) directed by Bryan Singer. Contemplating these two works as narratives, taking into account the focus on language and aesthetic object in these fictions, which transmit us to an intertextual and/or self-reflective questions in humanity’s construction, its social and its interactions with time/space, landmarks of literature postulated by Culler (1999), in Literary Theory. Thus, these acclaimed foreign narratives deal with the concepts of language, time and society in contemporary times, (re)signifying the conceptions of time and language in their fictionality, directly contributing to the structure of both narratives that use time travels to compose the triad that structures the films: language, time and social; it is in this similarity that the space is found to bring both narratives closer to each other, using as a basis for comparison the “Structural Homology”, by Gonçalves (1997), in which we analyze how structures influence the aspects of narratives, looking for similarities and differences in their structural compositions. We realized that despite being two works with different themes, stories and years, they have a similar structure in the construction of the narrative time, in relation to its beginning, middle and end configured by the passages/time travels.
