Este texto tem a pretensão de expor uma reflexão acerca da relação de subjetividade e alteridade presentes na poesia de Patativa do Assaré e, a partir dessa relação, apresentar e refletir sobre os pressupostos que nos permitem pensar o Ethos e uma Ética a partir de sua obra. O presente texto pauta-se em um método fenomenológico, no qual, por meio de um recorte bibliográfico realizamos uma análise dos textos, artigos, livros e, sobretudo, da poesia de Patativa do Assaré e a apresentação do Ethos de vida apresentado pelo bardo citado. Para tanto, apoiaremos nos conceitos de Subjetividade e Alteridade apresentados por Emmanuel Levinas e no conceito de Ethos e Ética apresentado por Lima Vaz. Inicialmente, podemos afirmar que a poesia Patativa nos oferece subsídios para pensar um Ethos que se enraíza e se forma no chão seco, na Terra, no Oikos do Homem Sertanejo onde este constrói a sua subjetividade. Portanto, a Poesia de Patativa, não apenas apresenta a formação da subjetividade do homem em suas relações mais essenciais de sensibilidade como, também, se torna o testemunho profético anunciando o Outro sofredor que interpela o compromisso e a responsabilidade Ética do Mesmo.
This text intends to expose a reflection on the relationship of subjectivity and otherness present in the poetry of Patativa do Assaré and, from this relationship, present and reflect on the assumptions that allow us to think about Ethos and an Ethics based on his work. The present text is based on a phenomenological method, in which, through a bibliographic clipping, we analyze the texts, articles, books and, above all, the poetry of Patativa do Assaré and the presentation of the Ethos of life presented bythe aforementioned bard. Therefore, we will support the concepts of Subjectivity and Alterity presented by Emmanuel Lévinas and the concept of Ethos and Ethics presented by Lima Vaz. Initially, we can say that the poetry of Patativa offers us subsidies tothink about an Ethos that takes root and is formed in the dry ground, on Earth, in the Oikos of Homem Sertanejo, where he builds his subjectivity. Therefore, Patativa's Poetry not only presents the formation of man's subjectivity in its most essential relations of sensibility, but also becomes the prophetic witness announcing the suffering Other who challenges the commitment and the Ethical responsibility of the Same.
