Este artigo é uma pesquisa do tipo estado da arte que tem por
finalidade verificar os fatores determinantes que estão relacionados ao
desempenho acadêmico de alunos no Ensino Superior. Pretendeu-se,
portanto, verificar se existem pesquisas relacionadas ao tema e analisar
a que ponto estes itens colaboram ou não para o desenvolvimento dos
estudantes em seus respectivos cursos. Foram encontrados seis
trabalhos nas bases de dados Capes (periódicos), Scielo, Science Direct e
na Biblioteca Digital Brasileira de Teses e Dissertações (BDTD).
Observou-se que o ingresso de um aluno no Ensino Superior depende
de fatores além do mecanismo de ingresso adotado pelas
universidades, pois mostram que fatores sociais, econômicos e culturais
estão ligados ao desempenho acadêmico do aluno. Também há
necessidade de que estudos do desempenho dos estudantes em
academias sejam realizados e relacionados com o perfil do aluno e suas
dificuldades.

higher education depends on factors beyond the entry mechanism adopted by
universities as they show that social, economic and cultural factors are linked
to the academic performance of the student. There is also need for studies of
university’ student performance are realized and related to the profile’ student
and their difficulties.
