Meat production inBrazil always develops, in the same way as the requirements of the market and consumers, which make beef cattle constantly looking for scientific and management techniques to ensure greater economic return on the activity. Combined with genetic improvement, the use of artificial insemination in fixed time (IATF) gains evidence in commercial production. Fixed-time artificial insemination (IATF) is analyzed for reproductive biotechnology capable of promoting the increase of reproductive indicators, with a significant result on the bioeconomic efficiency of the property. However, the success of the IATF is dependent on multiple factors that entirely affect the pregnancy rate. The objective of the present study was to evaluate fixed-time artificial insemination(IATF) in beef cattle at the Alfredo de Maya farm in the municipality of Cacimbinhas / AL. It is concluded that the IATF alternative is an alternative factor implanted to the management to increase the reproductive and productive efficiency of beef cattle. The increase in productivity and quality of the herd generating a significant economic return for the farm.
