Neste texto miramos um conjunto de ações que ‘desencastela’ o corpo do leitor da biblioteca tradicional e outros santuários correlatos, permitindo-nos divisar um leque de relações sociais entretecidas por livros e leitores em circulação na cidade. Ninhos de Livros, Bibliotecas Livres ou Sem Paredes, Gelotecas e iniciativas afins fomentam práticas mobilizadas pelos gestos de ler e “libertar” livros. Os livros e as ações nas quais se imiscuem são as intervenções/armadilhas que nos auxiliam a pensar a cidade como mais do que um mero pano de fundo. Nessa perspectiva, a territorialidade da cidade é espaço ampliado de reflexão, crítica e investigação, palco de alternativas aos circuitos oficiais e elemento fundamental no estabelecimento do corpo a corpo da obra com o público.
In this text we analyze a set of actions that displaces the body of the reader of the traditional library and other related sanctuaries, allowing us to discern a range of social relationships interwoven by books and readers in circulation in the city. Ninhos de livros [book nests], Bibliotecas Livres or Sem Paredes [Free and wall-less libraries], Gelotecas [Upcycle refrigerator libraries] and similar initiatives encourage practices mobilized by the gestures of reading and “liberating” books. The books and actions in which they intermingle are the interventions / traps that help us to think the city as more than a mere backdrop. In this perspective, the urban territoriality is an expanded space for reflection, criticism and investigation, a stage for alternatives to the official circuits and a fundamental element in the establishment of the personal contact of the work with the public.
