O texto objetiva exteriorizar nossas primeiras reflexões acerca da temática de pesquisa que pretendemos investigar cuja problemática se traduz em: de que maneira as práticas religiosas afro-brasileiras, que têm como mote a busca pela tradição, como foco de resistência identitária, consegue se inserir no contexto pós-moderno que, por sua vez, é caracterizado exatamente pela ausência da tradição.
This text attempts to objectify our first reflections concerning the theme of our research which is the problem of expressing; 1) in what manner are the afro-brazilian religious practices whose objective is the search for a tradition as a means to create an identity of defense; 2) how can this result insert itself into the post-modern context; 3) which of itself is characterized exactly by the absence of tradition.
