A presente investigação objetivou compreender a atual situação do acesso ao patrimônio documental e à informação. Para isso, foram realizadas pesquisas de campo, utilizando-se entrevistas abertas, diretamente com os sujeitos envolvidos com a gestão documental e o acesso à informação das Instituições Federais de Ensino Superior do Estado de Roraima: o IFRR e a UFRR. As narrativas dos sujeitos entrevistados foram compreendidas por meio da análise de conteúdo, segmentadas em duas categorias, as quais foram elaboradas com base em dois tópicos guias pré-estabelecidos no roteiro da entrevista, são elas: 1. Acesso, na qual contempla-se aspectos acerca do acesso aos documentos e à informação das IFES e 2. Perspectivas, na qual explana-se sobre as perspectivas e o desenvolvimento de futuras ações destas instituições frente ao acesso e ao patrimônio documental. Por meio dos resultados obtidos constatou-se que o acesso vem ocorrendo, ainda que não de forma satisfatória e as perspectivas voltadas aos bens documentais e ao acesso a eles e às informações são promissoras nas IFES do Estado de Roraima.

The present investigation objective comprisethe current situation of the access to the documentary patrimony and to the information. For this, were made investigations of field, using open interviews, directly with the subjects wrapped with the documentary management and the access to the information of the Federal Institutions of Upper Education of the State of Roraima: the IFRR and the UFRR. The narratives of the subjects interviewed were comprised by means of the analysis of the content, divided in two categories, which were elaborated with base in two commonplaces guide pre-established in the script of the interview, are they: 1. Access, in which it contemplates appearances about the access to the documents and to the information of the IFES and 2. Perspectives, in which explain-if on the perspectives and the development of future actions of these institutions in front of the access and to the documentary patrimony. By means of the results obtained ascertained that the access comes occurring, although no of satisfactory form and the perspectives gone back to the documentary patrimony and to the access to them and to the informations are promisors in the IFES of the State of Roraima.
