Este caso aborda a temática de como a liderança pode impactar na motivação dos profissionais e estimular a congruência no atingimento das metas, que acontece quando os colaboradores, tomam decisões em prol das metas gerais da organização. Está fundamentado no método de caso e é inspirado em um caso real. O trabalho contribui à teoria ao conjugar os conceitos de liderança e motivação, que, embora bastante interligados, nem sempre são explorados de forma conjunta. A aplicação do caso real oferece insights para organizações que estejam passando por situações similares e ajuda ao estimular a reflexão das ações dos líderes.
This case addresses the issue of how leadership can impact the motivation of professionals and encourage congruence in achieving goals, which happens when employees make decisions in favor of the organization’s general goals. It is based on the case method and it is inspired by a real case. The work contributes to the theory by combining concepts of leadership and motivation, which, although quite interconnected, are not always explored together. The application of a real case offers insights for organizations that are going through similar situations and helps to stimulate reflection on the actions of leaders.
