O presente trabalho busca trazer apontamentos acerca das transformações desencadeadas pela pandemia de Covid-19 nos usos da Lapa, tradicional bairro localizado no centro da cidade do Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. Para tanto, trago algumas elucidações a partir do trabalho de campo e das mudanças na rota da pesquisa sobre a região investigada. Ainda no período pandêmico, com seus impactos sobre a cidade de formas indubitavelmente desiguais, de alguma maneira percebe-se que a Lapa permaneceu viva enquanto uma referência ambivalente patrimonial na cultura urbana carioca.
This paper seeks to bring notes about the transformations triggered by the Covid-19 pandemic in the uses of Lapa, a traditional neighborhood located in the center of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. For that, I bring some elucidations from the fieldwork and the changes in the research route that about the investigated region. Even in the pandemic period, with its impacts on the city in undoubtedly unequal ways, in some way, it is clear that Lapa remained alive as a heritage ambivalent reference in Rio’s urban culture.
