O presente artigo propõe um estudo sobre Mc 7,24-30. Investiga a relação de Jesus de Nazaré com os gentios e sua abertura aos não-judeus. Na perspectiva das “migalhas que caem da mesa” em confronto com o “pão em abundância”, analisa a passagem do pão a favor dos judeus, que se julgavam destinatários exclusivos da Boa Nova, ao dom do pão a favor dos pagãos. A primeira parte realiza uma análise do texto, reconstruindo, assim, o caminho percorrido pelo autor sagrado. A segunda parte elabora um comentário que possibilita uma mais clara compreensão do texto. Por fim, a terceira parte evidencia determinados aspectos teológicos da perícope em questão, refletindo o rompimento de barreiras e sinaliza para a mesa do Reino compartilhada entre judeus e gentios. O relato do encontro de Jesus com uma mulher estrangeira abre caminhos para a comunidade cristã assumir uma atitude nova para expulsar o “demônio da exclusão” reinante naquela época.
The present paper proposes a study of Mk 7,24-30. It investigates the relationship of Jesus of Nazareth with the Gentiles and his openness to non-Jews.From the perspective of the “crumbs that fall from the table” in comparison with the “bread in abundance”, it analyzes the passage from bread in favor of the Jews, who thought they were the exclusive recipients of the Good News, to the gift of bread in favor of the pagans. The first part carries out an analysis of the text, thus reconstructing the path taken by the sacred author. The second part elaborates a commentary that enables a clearer understanding of the text. Finally, the third part highlights certain theological aspects of the pericope in question, reflecting the breaking down of barriers and pointing to the Kingdom table shared between Jews and Gentiles. The account of Jesus’ encounter with a foreign woman opens paths for the Christian community to assume a new attitude to expel the “demon of exclusion” reigning at that time.
