O presente artigo tem como propósito compreender como as óperas, tanto nacionais quanto estrangeiras, abordaram as temáticas amazônicas. Para tanto, nossa metodologia envolve um levantamento historiográfico que visa assimilar como ocorreu a chegada da ópera ao Brasil e o seu caminho até a Amazônia. Para isso,iniciaremos abordando de forma detalhada como a ópera se inseriu no ambiente brasileiro, revelando os fatores que contribuíram para a valorização e recepção dessa. Em seguida,nos enveredaremos pelos caminhos que possibilitaram sua propagação para outras regiões até o Norte do país. A partir de então,pretende-se entender a relação entre ópera e o contexto amazônico, bem como sua relação com a literatura.Propõe-se ainda,explorar quais óperas foram apresentadas, quais obras foram criadas e como a região influenciou as produções líricas nacionais e estrangeiras. Em suma, almeja-se que este estudo contribua significativamente para a compreensão da interação entre as óperas, e as temáticas amazônicas.
The present article aims to understand how operas, both national and foreign, have approached Amazonian themes. To do so, our methodology involves a historiographical survey aimed at understanding how opera arrived in Brazil and its path to the Amazon. To this end, we will begin by detailing how opera was inserted into the Brazilian environment, revealing the factors that contributed to its valorization and reception. Then, we will delve into the paths that enabled its propagation to other regions, including the North of the country. From this, we intend to understand the relationship between opera and the Amazonian context, as well as its relationship with literature. Furthermore, we propose to explore which operas were presented, which works were created, and how the region influenced national and foreign lyrical productions. In summary, this study aims to significantly contribute to the understanding of the interaction between operas,both national and foreign, and Amazonian themes.
